Excited children and their families descended on Muskoka Heritage Place on Sunday to get a glimpse of the Easter Bunny and find chocolate eggs at the Easter egg hunt hosted by The Nutty Chocolatier.
The event celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, and had it not been for COVID-19 it would’ve been celebrating its 27th anniversary, noted Nutty Chocolatier owner Nancy Wegner.
There were about six hundred attendees at the event. You could see bunny ears and colourful baskets all around. Once the gates opened, the Easter bunny happily greeted and waved to everyone, stopping for high-fives, and later on, after the hunt, posing for photos.
All in all, it was a beautiful day for this free and well-organized annual tradition.
