Wayback Wednesday, sponsored by Jamie Lockwood, broker/owner of Sutton Group Muskoka Realty!

The exact date of this photo of the All Saints’ Anglican Church looking east is unknown, but it is believed to have been taken sometime between 1910 and 1955 and can be found in the Muskoka Digital Archives repository.

The property was deeded from William Cann in 1876, and the shell of a church hall was built. The bell tower was added in 1884. On June 9, 1895, architect Robert Ogilvie of Toronto opened the new stone building. The battlement was added at the top of the square bell tower and removed in 1955 when the belfry was recapped in copper. The trees were planted in 1910.
