Enjoy great food for a great cause on November 15, 2018!
For anyone who loves delicious culinary experiences, New Orleans is a must. The Wedge Salad, Shrimp Creole, Blackened Beef Tenderloin, and Bananas Foster are just some of the favourites to come from the area.
What’s the one problem with mentioning all these delectable dishes? We’re guessing you weren’t planning on visiting New Orleans this November… Well, lucky for you, this Thursday November 15, Louisiana comes to 3 Guys and a Stove in Huntsville at A Night in New Orleans!
Hosted by the Fairvern Nursing Home Board of Directors, A Night in New Orleans is a fundraiser in support of the Fairvern Nursing Home Rebuild. Fairvern provides 24-hour nursing, personal and palliative care to residents of Huntsville and Parry Sound. The aging building and new requirements for long-term care in Ontario mean that Fairvern must be rebuilt. The Province will provide a portion of the needed funding but the remainder of the capital must be raised through local community initiatives. This is where Fairvern needs your support!
At A Night in New Orleans, 100 per cent of the proceeds go towards this incredible Fairvern initiative. So, join us for a night in the Louisiana Kitchen with a delicious four-course meal courtesy of 3 Guys and a Stove, silent auction items and an evening full of fun, all for a great cause. Seatings are available at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Are you ready to be hungry? Wait until you hear the mouthwatering lineup that 3 Guys and a Stove will have prepared for you!
- Hurricane Cocktails: A sweet alcoholic drink made with rum, fruit juice, and syrup or grenadine. The creation of this delicious daiquiri is credited to New Orleans tavern owner Pat O’Brien, and has been a staple in the French Quarter since the 1940s.
- Shrimp Creole: A delicious shrimp dish prepared with the Holy Trinity – onions, bell peppers, celery, stock, tomatoes and seasoning. All topped off with the Creole Sauce that leads the way for the city’s famous food heritage.
- The Wedge of K Paul’s Kitchen: A wedge of lettuce sprinkled with tomatoes, green onions and bacon, served with your choice of blue cheese dressing or dill vinaigrette.
- Blackened Beef Tenderloin: Our 6-ounce beef tenderloin is aged, seasoned and blackened in a cast iron pan and served with horseradish, brown garlic butter, potatoes and roasted vegetables.
- Bananas Foster: First created by Ella Brenna and Chef Paul Blangé at their restaurant Brennan’s, this delicious dessert is made with bananas, vanilla ice cream and a sauce made from butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, dark rum and banana liqueur.
- Also enjoy a complimentary drink during dinner service!
