Art Fx is a year-long series on Huntsville Doppler featuring Huntsville-area visual artists. This month has been generously sponsored by Artists of the Limberlost.
“Mallow” by Carolyne Wagland captures the simple beauty of garden blossoms.
“I am compelled to continuously create—sketch, paint, and draw with pencil, watercolours or digital tools,” says Carolyne. “Whether it be pictures of the sun, whimsical characters or sketches of the things that inspire me in my own world like small garden wonders or the magnificent Muskoka woodlands, rocks and water that surround me.”

About the artist
I love to sketch, paint and create original illustrations and graphics. As a graphic designer, I frequently integrate illustration into my design solutions, using images to convey stories.
Print-on-demand technology allows me to share my creations in new and exciting ways, whether on greeting cards, art prints, posters, pillows, clothing, and accessories.
See more of Carolyne’s works at gravityartanddesign.com/shop, or you can contact her directly at [email protected].
