A devastating fire in 2015 left Al and Connie Dobson, owners of Near North Business Machines, rebuilding not only their home but their business as well.
The fire destroyed their home and also caused enough damage to the store that all the inventory was lost and the storefront was ruined. The Dobsons have been working hard to pull everything back together, working around and through all the construction, often in very tight spaces.
Last Friday they celebrated their Grand Reopening and Customer Appreciation Day. People were invited to visit the newly renovated space, enjoy treats including a BBQ and cake, and to enter numerous draws.
The grand reopening marks the last nail put in the board to officially open for business. We combined it with the customer appreciation day to say thanks to our customers for the past year of ups and downs, but also the past 23 (24 this July) of their support in the growth of our business.
