{"id":99847,"date":"2021-07-03T17:10:11","date_gmt":"2021-07-03T21:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=99847"},"modified":"2021-07-09T12:02:10","modified_gmt":"2021-07-09T16:02:10","slug":"sexual-assault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/sexual-assault\/","title":{"rendered":"Former high school teacher charged in historical sexual assault investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the Huntsville OPP Detachment and Muskoka Crime Unit conducted an investigation into a complaint of a series of sexual assaults alleged to have occurred between 2001-2003 involving a young person. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the investigation, former high school teacher Jordan (Dean) RILEY, 55-years-old, of Huntsville, Ontario has been charged with:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Adult Sexual Assault x &nbsp;2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Adult Sexual Exploitation x 2 &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accused was released by ways of an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville at a later date.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police are asking anyone who may have information regarding this investigation or if you have information regarding child exploitation, please contact the&nbsp;OPP at 705-789-5551 or at 1-888-310-1122. If wish to remain anonymous you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca<\/a>. Reporting information may also be made on the internet through&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cybertip.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.cybertip.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone wanting to make a difference is encouraged to go to&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.protectchildren.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.protectchildren.ca<\/a>&nbsp;to download the &#8220;Child Sexual Abuse-It Is Your Business&#8221; brochure from the Canadian Center for Child Protection.
