(submitted)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Under a new Rotary initiative, when you order delicious takeout from local restaurants, you&#8217;re supporting both Rotary&#8217;s good works in the community and local businesses.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>The Rotary Club of Huntsville Evening Satellite Club, a new branch of Rotary that was chartered in February 2020, is partnering with eight local restaurants for a takeout project every Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurants create a special meal every Tuesday night, and five dollars from every order is donated to Rotary for community projects.<\/p>\n<p>Takeout Tuesdays is being run by Rotarian Sharon Wallace, who originally heard about the idea from the Rotary Club of Orillia which had a successful run with a similar initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The Huntsville club started with four local restaurants but the selection quickly grew to eight\u2014East Side Mario&#8217;s, Family Place, Main St Local, Marigold Unique Flavour, The Mill on Main, Moose Delaney&#8217;s, That Little Place by the Lights, and West Side Fish &#8216;n&#8217; Chips.
