{"id":93318,"date":"2021-01-05T16:03:39","date_gmt":"2021-01-05T21:03:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=93318"},"modified":"2021-01-07T15:53:15","modified_gmt":"2021-01-07T20:53:15","slug":"huntsville-opp-charge-local-man-with-luring-minors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/huntsville-opp-charge-local-man-with-luring-minors\/","title":{"rendered":"Huntsville OPP charge local man with luring minors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Update: on Jan. 6, 2021, the OPP revised the list of charges, which have been edited below.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Members of the Huntsville Detachment, Muskoka Crime Unit, Child Exploitation Unit and the Digital Forensic Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted an investigation into a sexual assault involving a young person and an adult resulting in charges.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>Police received a complaint from Cybertip.ca in late December that a young person had intimate contact with an adult male. As a result of the investigation, Kevin CAMERON, 49-years-old, of Huntsville Ontario, has been charged with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adult Luring a Person Under 18 years of age by means of Telecommunication;<\/li>\n<li>Adult Luring a Person Under 16 years of age by means of Telecommunication; and<\/li>\n<li>Adult Distribute Sexually Explicit Material to a Person under 18yrs of age.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville, at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Police are requesting anyone who may have additional information or believes that they may be a victim to contact the Huntsville OPP Crime Unit at (705) 789-5551 or toll-free at 1-888-310-1122.<\/p>\n<p>You can also provide information anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crimestoppers.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.crimestoppers.ca&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1609965908437000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGKmy4y-FN2f1-WFk-h6qbV9FJGdA\">www.crimestoppers.ca<\/a><\/span>.
