{"id":93095,"date":"2020-12-24T15:56:43","date_gmt":"2020-12-24T20:56:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=93095"},"modified":"2020-12-24T15:56:43","modified_gmt":"2020-12-24T20:56:43","slug":"real-estate-council-lays-35-charges-against-former-brokerage-and-broker-of-record","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/real-estate-council-lays-35-charges-against-former-brokerage-and-broker-of-record\/","title":{"rendered":"Real estate council lays 35 charges against former brokerage and broker of record"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) has laid 35 charges against former real estate brokerage RE\/MAX North Country Realty INC. and its broker of record, Ray Jarvis.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>The charges were laid under the Real Estate and Business Broker Act, (REEBA) 2002. According to RECO&#8217;s website Jarvis was charged with 20 charges, while the business was charged with 15.<\/p>\n<p>The matter is still before the courts.<\/p>\n<p>Last December RECO issued an order to immediately suspend the registration of the Re\/Max North Country Realty Ltd. brokerage, with its head office in Huntsville.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;RECO discovered a shortfall in RE\/MAX North Country Realty Inc.\u2019s statutory real estate trust account, where consumer deposits are to be held.
