{"id":89372,"date":"2020-09-12T08:14:44","date_gmt":"2020-09-12T12:14:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=89372"},"modified":"2020-09-12T08:14:44","modified_gmt":"2020-09-12T12:14:44","slug":"drive-through-covid-19-testing-available-on-sept-14-in-huntsville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/drive-through-covid-19-testing-available-on-sept-14-in-huntsville\/","title":{"rendered":"Drive-through COVID-19 testing available on Sept. 14 in Huntsville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>District of Muskoka Paramedics have added a Monday, September 14, 2020 drive-through date in Huntsville for those in the community not displaying symptoms but would like a COVID-19 test (asymptomatic).<\/p>\n<p>You do NOT need an appointment to be tested at this drive-through location, however wait times will vary depending on volume.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HUNTSVILLE DRIVE-THROUGH:<\/strong><br \/>\nDate: Monday, September 14, 2020<br \/>\nLocation: Canada Summit Centre \u2013 20 Park Drive, Huntsville<br \/>\nTime: 9:00 \u2013 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>Individuals attending the drive-through testing must wear a mask, bring a valid health card, follow all instructional signage, and remain in vehicle until Community Paramedics provide direction. If you are travelling from outside the Muskoka region, please consider getting tested at your local COVID-19 Assessment Centre as your first option.<\/p>\n<p>The drive-through operation may, on short notice, be discontinued immediately if inclement weather approaches or it is unsafe to continue. Your understanding is appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>Testing is still available by appointment for symptomatic people and asymptomatic people by calling your primary care provider or the MAHC COVID-19 Assessment Centre line at 1-888-383-7009.<\/p>\n<p>When you arrive at the drive-through testing location, you will receive detailed information on how to get your results. The Assessment Centre\/Community Paramedics do not have test results nor do they have control over the length of time it takes to process COVID-19 tests.
