{"id":8681,"date":"2015-12-22T20:27:00","date_gmt":"2015-12-23T01:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=8681"},"modified":"2015-12-23T08:36:50","modified_gmt":"2015-12-23T13:36:50","slug":"clear-cutting-has-landed-this-property-owner-in-a-lot-of-trouble","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/clear-cutting-has-landed-this-property-owner-in-a-lot-of-trouble\/","title":{"rendered":"Clear cutting has landed this property owner in a lot of trouble"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A property owner on North Waseosa Lake Road has landed himself in a very untenable situation with the Town of Huntsville&#8217;s building and by-law department after contravening his site plan agreement.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong> <broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>Following up on a complaint about the landscaping at this particular location, executive director of Development Services, Mike Gooch visited the lake front property to discover that almost all the mature trees and shoreline vegetation had been removed, and the naturalized ground cover had been ripped out. In its place was a barren swath of mulch and gravel.
