This investigation led to the arrest of two parties, and the seizure of $5,700 in cocaine and $994 in Canadian Currency.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>Police seized approximately 35.35 grams of powder cocaine, 13.5 grams of crack cocaine, $994 in Canadian Currency, a prohibited knife, as well as methadone. During the arrest, one party resisted arrest resulting in a minor injury to one of the officers. The following parties have been charged:<\/p>\n<p>Adam BARAGER (28), of Huntsville, Ontario:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Possession of a Schedule I Substance &#8211; Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking S. 5(2) CDSA<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Possession of a Schedule I Substance &#8211; Crack Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking S. 5(2) CDSA<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 S. 354(1)(b) CCC<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Resist Peace Officer S. 129(a) CCC<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Carrying a Concealed Weapon S. 90 CCC<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose S. 88 CCC<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Two (2) Counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance S. 145(3) CCC<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Two (2) Counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order S. 733.1(1) CCC<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Possession of a Schedule I Substance &#8211; Methadone S. 4(1) CDSA<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Jacqueline TILLEY (30), of Huntsville, Ontario:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Possession of a Schedule I Substance &#8211; Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking S. 5(2) CDSA<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Possession of a Schedule I Substance &#8211; Crack Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking S. 5(2) CDSA<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Possession of a Schedule I Substance &#8211; Methadone S. 4(1) CDSA<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>TILLEY was released on an Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville, Ontario on June 17<sup>th<\/sup>, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>BARAGER has been held in custody for a video remand hearing through the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie, Ontario on April 10<sup>th<\/sup>, 2020.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_84129\" style=\"width: 1410px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-84129\" class=\"size-full wp-image-84129\" src=\"https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2020\/04\/1586514374607_resized.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/1586514374607_resized-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/1586514374607_resized-630x473.jpg 630w, https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/1586514374607_resized-750x563.jpg 750w, https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/1586514374607_resized-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/1586514374607_resized-1140x855.jpg 1140w, https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2020\/04\/1586514374607_resized.jpg 1400w\" alt=\"Drugs, cash and weapons seized during a search warrant at a Dwight residence on April 9 (OPP)\" width=\"1400\" height=\"1050\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-84129\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Drugs, cash and weapons seized during a search warrant at a Dwight residence on April 9 (OPP)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>On April 9<sup>th<\/sup>, 2020 the Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police with assistance from the Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the Central Region Canine Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant in the Township of Dwight. Police seized cocaine with an approximate value of $4428 as well as $3995 in Canadian Currency.<\/p>\n<p>At approximately 3:50 pm officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 60 in relation to an investigation being conducted by the Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit. During the stop, two parties were arrested for possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking. A short time later, officers executed a search warrant on their residence in the Township of Dwight.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of this investigation, police seized approximately 44.28 grams of cocaine, $3995 in Canadian Currency, a prohibited knife, and a replica handgun which had been modified to appear as a real firearm.
