She was presented with a 10th Anniversary Champion Award under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.<\/p>\n<p>The award was presented to her by Huntsville Mayor Scott Aitchison and Councillor Dan Armour, who sits on the Accessibility Advisory Committee chaired by Kirwin.<\/p>\n<p>Aitchison said that Kirwin has managed to change the face of the town by creating awareness about those with disabilities as well as changing the town physically by pushing for greater accessibility.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve learned a lot from spending time with you and I know many of my predecessors have learned a lot. I see former Mayor Doughty is here and he&#8217;s smiling because he learned a lot, too.
