Carol\u2019s role includes oversight of clinical services and nursing for the MAHC organization and ex-officio, non-voting member of the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to join the MAHC team and continue to foster the dynamic team approach to safe, high-quality care and quality improvement,\u201d says Anderson. \u201cIn my first week, I\u2019ve been impressed with the tremendous teamwork I\u2019ve seen on the units across both hospital sites, and the unwavering commitment to providing quality care to our patients and communities. This is truly impressive and I am so proud to be part of the team at MAHC. I look forward to building on MAHC\u2019s recent achievement of accreditation with exemplary standing and contributing positively to MAHC\u2019s mission and vision while furthering the goals of the organization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carol, a Registered Nurse, holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto and brings 35 years of clinical experience in a number of health care environments including acute and critical care, complex continuing care, rehabilitation, mental health and gerontology. She has held senior executive leadership roles in health care for more than 20 years, including Executive Vice President, Vice President and Chief Nursing Executive roles in both large- and medium-sized hospitals.
