Don’t let the name fool you. Culture Days, which is taking place across the country this weekend, is a lot of fun.<\/p>\n

Culture Days<\/a><\/span> is an annual national celebration of arts and culture. It brought Huntsville and surrounding area to life from September 27-29 with a variety of demonstrations and activities. Visitors learned about the works of various artists and watched them at work at their craft. You could also attend an open house for the AO Charity Paddle Art Auction<\/a><\/span>, go on a photography walk, find out about your family history, learn to spin yarn, enjoy music on the street, learn about Muskoka’s endangered turtle population, and much, much more. There were 33 individual events in the area to experience. Here is just a sampling of what went on.<\/p>\n

Karolyn Burkhart-Schultz and Llynnis Royea of the Trillium Handspinners & Weavers were on the street demonstrating and giving people an opportunity to try their hand at spinning and weaving.
