The Downtown Huntsville BIA (Business Improvement Area) held its annual Summer Sidewalk Sale and Main Street was bustling with people and bursting with excitement.<\/p>\n

<\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n

Not only was it an opportunity to get a good deal at a downtown store, but there was the opportunity to see artists and artisans at work with live demonstrations.<\/p>\n

If you were there, maybe you saw a snake or a turtle. Or perhaps you got to see Kerry Garner’s incredible talent at remaking old, broken jewellery into something new and beautiful.<\/p>\n

Did Allen Markle’s handmade boxes catch your eye? Or did you get an incredible deal on something you’ve wanted for a long time?<\/p>\n

The BIA goes above and beyond to ensure the Sidewalk Sale is a hit, no matter what Mother Nature decides to do. Good food? Check. Great tunes? Check. Something for everyone? Definitely!<\/p>\n

Hundreds of people from Muskoka and beyond fared the rainy weather under an umbrella and didn’t miss out on the sidewalk fun. Check out some of the shots captured by Doppler photographer Laura MacLean.<\/p>\n

Kerry Garner of Recreations knows just what to do with that old, broken watch or bracelet. She will turn into something shiny and new that you can wear for years to come.<\/p><\/div>\n

It was all about the hula hoops for Naomi Cassie-Rapp and Brynn Stephens, thanks to the perfectly laid sod right in the middle of Main Street. Once again, the ‘green carpet’ was rolled out as part of the Green Street Challenge courtesy of volunteers and Rugged Earth Landscaping.<\/p><\/div>\n
