The Muskoka Community Foundation is excited to announce two granting opportunities available this summer.<\/p>\n

<\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n

The first is the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge, making up to $15,000 available to youth-led projects that address diverse and urgent local priorities.<\/p>\n

Lynn DeCaro, Executive Director of the Muskoka Community Foundation said, “This is a great opportunity for youth in Muskoka. We are pleased to partner with the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge to be part of creative solutions that enhance equity and sustainability within our communities. We know that youth in Muskoka are passionate about making a difference and we are looking forward to supporting them with this amazing partnership with RBC.”<\/p>\n

Applications for the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge are being accepted until September 18, 2019.<\/p>\n

The second granting opportunity is from the Smart and Caring Muskoka Fund. This year the focus will be on projects that support mental health and wellness. DeCaro noted that “each year we have a theme that speaks to the needs of the community. Increasingly, we are hearing about the needs for supports in the area of mental health and wellness in Muskoka. We know that so much work is already being done in this area and we are happy to lend a helping hand with grants up to $5,000.”<\/p>\n

Applications for the Smart and Caring Muskoka Fund are being accepted from July 8 to August 16, 2019.<\/p>\n
