Friends and coworkers Jana Striezova and Lynne Reynolds have made a lifelong dream a reality and opened up their own shoe store.<\/p>\n

After working together for years, the pair realized that they both had the same goal: to bring affordable, elegant and comfortable shoes to Huntsville. Their solution is Majestic Sole.<\/p>\n

“I wouldn\u2019t have gone into business with anyone else but I knew it was perfect when I met Jana,” said Lynne. “We had the same goals and dreams and love all of the same styles of shoes.”<\/p>\n

Jana has owned other businesses previously and Lynne has also worked in retail for many years.<\/p>\n

“We were very tired of leaving town to buy nice shoes so wanted to take it into our own hands,” said Lynne.<\/p>\n

Majestic Sole carries a variety of shoes, hats, purses and wallets. They plan to expand to include more accessories, other types of women’s and men’s shoes, and kids’ shoes once they have feedback from the community about what they are wanting to see here in Huntsville.<\/p>\n

The majority of shoes are women’s, but Majestic Sole also has a men’s section. Jana says their shoe styles range from casual to elegant and everything in between.<\/p>\n

They say the store came together very quickly and after finding the space in March they knew they wanted to open by April.<\/p>\n

“Our landlord has been absolutely amazing,” said Jana. “He prepared the entire space for us including lighting, paint, everything.”<\/p>\n

Jana and Lynne have already been on many buying trips to Toronto since they opened the store in April and say their “girls’ road trips” are a fun aspect of owning a business.<\/p>\n

And they are very pleased with the response from the community in the six weeks they\u2019ve been open. They are very excited for the summer season to begin in downtown Huntsville.<\/p>\n

“Our customers have been calling us the \u2018hidden treasure of Huntsville\u2019,” said Jana. “They\u2019ve all been so incredibly supportive so far and everyone has loved our shoes.”<\/p>\n

Majestic Sole is located at 59 Main St. East and is open 10-5 Tuesday through Saturday and 11-4 on Sundays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
