To that end, this year\u2019s concert is a little different: we are not charging admission. We are suggesting a small donation at the door. In the past two years, the choir has done several charitable concerts around the community.<br \/>\nOur Spring Concert gives us another opportunity to offer our music to a wider audience.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>The Huntsville Community Choir has been rehearsing since January to make ready for their Spring Concert entitled \u201cAn Elizabethan Spring\u201d. The program features songs mainly from three collections: \u201cAn Elizabethan Spring\u201d and \u201cAn Elizabethan Summer\u201d by Stephan Chatman and \u201cSongs and Sonnets\u201d by George Shearing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSongs and Sonnets\u201d has a jazz vibe , but is set to words by William Shakespeare. The rest of the program is rounded out with two songs by Ola Gjeilo, a Norwegian composer whom you are sure to fall in love with, and several contemporary jazz selections such as \u201cLullaby of Birdland\u201d. We will have your heart strings plucked with \u201cThe Seal Lullaby\u201d and \u201cEarth Song\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Louis Tusz and Kristine Knight are an amazing team to work for. Kristine is a gifted piano player, singer and accompanist. Louis is a multi-talented choral director and singer, arranger, teacher, choir member and musician. His choral selections never fail to challenge the choir and captivate audiences.<\/p>\n<p>CONCERT DATES: Friday, May 24 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m.<br \/>\nPLACE: St. Andrew\u2019s Presbyterian Church, Huntsville<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Don\u2019t miss out on Doppler!
