Local singer\/songwriter Tobin Spring, of Laganza, and fellow bandmate Brian Hawley will be featured as the warm-up act.<\/p>\n<p>Marks received a special lifetime achievement award from the Toronto Blues Society and was also a founding member of the 1960s Capitol Records&#8217; group, Edward Bear.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5945\" style=\"width: 394px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2015\/10\/danny_marks.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5945\" class=\" wp-image-5945\" src=\"https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2015\/10\/danny_marks.jpg\" alt=\"etwell concert series\" width=\"384\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2015\/10\/danny_marks-192x300.jpg 192w, https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2015\/10\/danny_marks.jpg 415w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 384px) 100vw, 384px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5945\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Canada&#8217;s own blues man Danny Marks will take the stage at the legion this Saturday.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>After a span as a journeyman session musician throughout the 70\u2019s, Marks settled into the club scene, establishing a cult following as a genre bender in music and humor. A house band gig at Toronto\u2019s famed Albert\u2019s Hall led him to host his own nation-wide TV show Stormy Monday. Most recently, Marks recorded two original music albums, Guitarchaeology and True, before paying tribute to Toronto\u2019s R&amp;B roots with Big Town Boy in 2005. For the last five years, he has been hosting JAZZ.FM91\u2019s Saturday night blues show, <a href=\"http:\/\/l.facebook.com\/l.php?u=http:\/\/bluz.fm\/&amp;h=GAQEDJr4x&amp;enc=AZPiOVe1gt3o3M-F8XzCr0ZQXB7XizdFM5PQlVSToye74Kt4RCXTCibZc8qHSAGoOTE&amp;s=1\">bluz.fm.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Glasgow born producer\/musician Alec Fraser came to music through his father Alec Sr., a boxing musician.
