Young and Deline played hard and faced Collingwood in their final match to place third overall.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Debbie Wolfe says HHS has been developing a solid tennis program for both junior and senior students over the past few years. &#8220;Most years, we have 10 to 20 eager students wishing to learn a new sport. More are always welcome.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>This year, the HHS tennis program had only four members commit to the team season so Huntsville\u2019s senior tennis players\u2014Young and Deline along with Kyle Campbell and Joey Walsh\u2014joined with Bracebridge players to represent Muskoka at GBSSA with a team of eight players.<\/p>\n<p>The senior girls took their skills to the courts and represented Muskoka well with their third place finish. Well done!<\/p>\n<p>When Coach Wolfe asked the girls, &#8216;Why tennis?&#8217; Lindsey Young explained that she started to play tennis with her mom when they would go on vacation and really enjoyed the sport. &#8220;In grade 11, I tried out for the high school team and was given the opportunity to increase my skills. Over the past few years, Miss Wolfe has taught me and helped me improve my game. I play tennis simply because I love it. Tennis is different than all the other sports I play and I enjoy being on the courts whenever I can.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>HHS students: watch for tennis tryouts in 2019.
