Steve and Jennifer Spencer have been huge fans of Halloween for as long as they can remember.<\/p>\n

Eight years ago they decided to take their love for the holiday to the next level and work year-round to create the most elaborately decorated yard possible.<\/p>\n

“We love spreading our madness and wanted to be scary without the fear attached to it,” said Jennifer. “Ever since I was little I always wanted to be the scariest house on the street and have kids remember our decorations year after year.”<\/p>\n

Almost every decoration has either been made or altered to fit their display as the Spencers want to add their own creativity to each aspect. Steve takes on the big build aspects and Jennifer does the planning and details of their display.<\/p>\n

They create and buy decorations throughout the year and start setting up around the beginning of October, bringing out some last-minute additions on Halloween night.<\/p>\n

This year the Spencers had a fair amount of trees cut down on their property so dead tree branches play a large part in their display.<\/p>\n

Around 80 trick-or-treaters came to their house when they first started their display, but now up to 300 come to visit Haunters Bay.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
