UPDATE 10\/17\/2018: No charges laid in Lions Lookout accident<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

On the morning of Monday, October 15, emergency crews responded to Lions Lookout for a vehicle that had gone off the edge of the popular viewpoint. It appeared to contain two people who were carried down on stretchers from the vehicle’s resting point mid-way down the north slope below the lookout.<\/p>\n

Emergency vehicles responded to Lions Lookout after reports that a vehicle had gone over the edge.<\/p><\/div>\n

First responders brought the two occupants of the vehicle down in stretchers, where ambulances were waiting to take them to hospital.<\/p><\/div>\n

The driver is said to have gone through a rock marker at the top of the Lookout. The vehicle is alleged to have dropped about 70 feet. One of the occupants is said to be in serious condition.<\/p><\/div>\n
