The seventh edition of Nuit Blanche North lit up downtown Huntsville on July 28, 2018. There were aerial acrobats and fire artists, dancers and hula hoopers, futuristic jetpacks and a retro Silver Elvis, all answering (in their own way) the question, ‘So What Now?’<\/p>\n

<\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n

More than 30 installations brought Main Street, River Mill Park and the Town Docks to life. A projection show lit up Town Hall while inside Partners Hall a month-long show of vintage Ringling Brothers images were a perfect complement to the night. Musicians transformed Club 55 into a lounge for the evening.<\/p>\n

On Main Street, festival-goers could witness amazing feats by buskers, feel the beat of the drums with Barry ‘Bazza’ Hayward, consider ‘what will I change?’ in an interactive fibre arts exhibit, or belt out their best tunes at karaoke backed by a live band.<\/p>\n

In River Mill Park, toe-tapping music rocked the bandshell stage, aerial acrobats took their acts to new heights, interactive film project documented the night, and a-maze-ing answers could be found.<\/p>\n

The centrepiece of the event was the late-night NorthFIRE show at the Town Docks, featuring fire artists wielding their dangerous tools with humour and aplomb.<\/p>\n
