It was appealed in 2015 and a hearing has finally been scheduled for this March.<\/p>\n<p>Another application involves a right-of-way on Skeleton Lake. The Board has granted the right-of-way and committee\u2019s decision was upheld.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>A hearing regarding the expansion of Muskoka Landing and the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/omb-hearing-muskoka-landings-height-exemption-appeal-begins-tomorrow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">applicant\u2019s height exemption<\/a><\/span> request was held in November, but the Board has still not ruled on that file \u2013 despite typically aiming to have a ruling in place 30 days after a hearing.<\/p>\n<p>An appeal filed with the Board by a neighbouring resident regarding setbacks proposed as part of the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/planning-committee-buys-some-time-before-making-a-recommendation-on-grandview-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">redevelopment of Grandview lands<\/a><\/span> is no longer up for appeal as the developers have withdrawn their request for the exemptions, according to Maxwell.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/planning-committee-votes-height-exemption-138-unit-retirement-home-along-hwy-60\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Another height exemption request<\/a><\/span> by the developers of Lakeside Place on Highway 60, which was denied by committee, does not have a hearing date at this point. \u201cWe\u2019re waiting to find out when a hearing will be scheduled,\u201d said Maxwell.<\/p>\n<p>And, finally, a decision by the Committee of Adjustment to deny a minor variance for the location of a dock and boathouse <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/huntsville-committee-denies-variance-requests-extended-dock-boathouse-lake-bays\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on South Portage Road<\/a><\/span> is being appealed by the applicant. \u201cAnd so that will be moving forward at some point,\u201d Maxwell told committee.<\/p>\n<p>You can find a link <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omb.gov.on.ca\/ecs\/MuniCaseList.aspx?m=33403&amp;mn=Huntsville\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/span> to all of the appeals before the Board and their status.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Don\u2019t miss out on Doppler!
