The event on September 16 will include a meet and greet at the school from 1-4 p.m. followed by three evening dinner and entertainment options: a roast beef buffet dinner at the Legion with a mixed bar and DJ; a chicken dinner by The Family Place Restaurant at the Active Living Centre with a beer and wine bar and a DJ; and a non-alcoholic, lighter-fare buffet at Sutherland Hall (All Saint&#8217;s Anglican Church) with entertainment. Although there are limited numbers of tickets available for each dinner venue, attendees can move between them afterward.<\/p>\n<p>The reunion&#8217;s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/526912644366037\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook page <\/a><\/span>has been active with people reconnecting, making plans to meet up at the event, and sharing photos and memories from their high school days. Attendees are encouraged to make copies of their photos, paste them on Bristol board, and bring them to the meet and greet for everyone to reminisce about.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">If you plan to attend, email greathhsreunion@gmail.com with your choice of dinner location, the number of tickets you want to purchase and the names of those attending, the decade in which you went to HHS, and your preferred method of payment (e-transfer, cheque or cash). Tickets are $40 each, on a first-come basis, and are non-refundable. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>In order to finalize arrangements, organizers are asking attendees to reserve tickets as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers are still needed to help with the event. None of the tasks are onerous and require only a small time commitment. There will be a volunteer meeting on Monday, August 21 at 7 p.m. in the community room upstairs at Robinson&#8217;s Independent.
