{"id":35450,"date":"2017-07-30T18:33:32","date_gmt":"2017-07-30T22:33:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=35450"},"modified":"2017-07-30T18:38:25","modified_gmt":"2017-07-30T22:38:25","slug":"two-people-24-15-charged-possession-stolen-property-marijuana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/two-people-24-15-charged-possession-stolen-property-marijuana\/","title":{"rendered":"Two people, 24 and 15, charged with possession of stolen property and marijuana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On July 29, 2017 just after <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1948890190\"><span class=\"aQJ\">5 am<\/span><\/span>, members of the Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located and confronted two individuals behaving suspiciously in a commercially populated area.<\/p>\n<p>Through investigation OPP found the two individuals to be in possession of stolen property identified from recently reported thefts.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-four-year-old Huntsville resident Jerry TASKER and a 15-year-old female who can&#8217;t be named as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act were both arrested and charged for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Theft Under $5,000<\/li>\n<li>Possession of Property Obtained by Crime<\/li>\n<li>Possession of Break in Instruments<\/li>\n<li>Possession of Schedule II Substance &#8211; Marijuana<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The investigation is ongoing and Police are asking anyone with information to contact the OPP at 705-789-5551 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). You can submit your information online at www.crimestopperssdm.com if you have any information on this crime or any other crime.
