<\/strong>For just one dollar, wouldn’t you grab that Stephen King horror classic for the cottage?<\/p>\n

Perhaps a history of professional hockey in Canada, penned by a former Prime Minister is more up your alley? No matter what kind of book you enjoy, at the Giant Book Sale held on Canada Day, all it cost was a buck.<\/p>\n

“Our strategy basically came down to: if every book sells for a dollar, this will be our biggest fundraiser,” said Steve Lavigne, the incoming President of the Rotary Club of Huntsville Lake of Bays<\/span><\/a>. “There was a lot of discussion trying to find that perfect price. We thought, at one dollar there is no reason not to grab the book that catches your eye.”<\/p>\n

Judging by the large crowd, and the even larger bags of books leaving Trinity Hall, the sale was a great success. And a successful day for the Giant Book Sale means a successful day for youth programs in our community. All funds are going toward breakfast and lunch programs for students, sending kids to camp, and other great support systems for those who can use a helping hand.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
