Residents who have not received their tax bill by June 30, 2017 are asked to contact the tax department to ensure their mailing address is up to date.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>The 2017 Final Tax Installment is due to the Town of Huntsville by <strong>Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 4:30pm<\/strong>. Residents are able to pay their taxes in advance of the deadline and up until 4:30pm on August 31.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are a variety of payment options available to residents,\u201d says Julia McKenzie, Manager of Finance\/Treasurer for the Town of Huntsville. \u201cResidents can pay in person at Town Hall, by mail, by phone or internet, pre-authorized debit or the option by Mortgage through their financial institution.\u201d Details on these methods can be found at huntsville.ca under the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.huntsville.ca\/en\/living\/PropertyTaxInformation.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Budget, Finance and Taxes information section<\/a><\/span> of<br \/>\nthe website.<\/p>\n<p>Julia notes that it is important for residents to be aware of their financial institution\u2019s processing times when making online payments. \u201cEvery financial institution is different and we want to remind residents to check this out before the deadline to avoid incurring interest charges.\u201d The friendly reminder from the tax department suggests, \u201cResidents should allow 3-5 business days for processing through their banking institution prior to the August 31 deadline.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For more information on payment options, current and previous tax rates and how taxes are calculated please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huntsville.ca\/en\/living\/PropertyTaxInformation.asp\">huntsville.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Don\u2019t miss out on Doppler!
