I remember the Shell station on the corner of Brunel and across Brunel it was either McGregor\u2019s Hardware, or Huntsville Hardware, depending on the year in question. On the right is J.R. Boyd &amp; Son, grocery store and next to that Wardell\u2019s department store. All family owned businesses and they were all in business for a good many years. I remember that next to the hardware store, a liquor store [LCBO] was squeezed in before the A&amp;P. My memory of Main Street began in 1940.
