The truck owners meet informally throughout the year in their local communities but this gathering is the largest, and arguably, the most fun for them.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;People drive six hours, from all over, Timmins, Guelph London, Ottawa, to come here for the day, just to hang,&#8221; enthused Ginger Barkey CFO of The Garage and host for the day. &#8220;These guy get together every Saturday but it\u2019s nothing like this. They\u2019ll go to a Canadian Tire parking lot and just hang out. A charity barbecue was part of the mix. Dan Barkwell, from Moose Delaney&#8217;s, was on hand to cook burgers and dogs for the approximately 1000 people who attended The Garage on Saturday. They don\u2019t look like they are much but they really are. They\u2019re rusty. They look like the belong in a back field somewhere but they are very well built. They aren&#8217;t rusty because they are old.
