The specific resources they are lacking are volunteers, firefighters and donations.<\/p>\n<p>FireFest has been an annual tradition held at the Dwight Beach for 25 years. Volunteers and firefighters have provided a day for the community and their families to come out and enjoy some fun-filled activities at the beach while interacting with their local firefighters. This has always been followed-up by a dazzling fireworks display to close off the evening.<\/p>\n<p>The FireFest Committee would like to extend their gratitude to the residents and supporters of this event in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Any member of the community interested in joining the fire department is asked to contact the Huntsville\/Lake of Bay Fire Department as they are currently running a recruitment drive for new members.
