According to Huntsville staffers the living wall at the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment is costing more than $20,000 a year to maintain.<\/p><\/div>\n

The implications of removing the living wall at the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment and replacing it with drywall for uses such as the display of art are two-fold.
\nWhile it would save the Town coffers an estimated $20,600 a year, it is unclear what the impact would be on the building’s air quality.
\nThe report, compiled by Town property manager Brian Crozier, was presented to the Town of Huntsville’s general committee on July 29.
\nCouncil requested the information for budget deliberations.
\nCouncillor Karin Terziano made it clear that while the Living Wall could not be removed, the cost was concerning.
\nCrozier was not present at the meeting to answer to further questions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
