In her 2012 Dragon’s Den pitch, she reduced two Dragons to tears and in the end came away with three Dragon partners to invest in her perfume business. Women in the Huntsville area will have an opportunity to hear Barb Stegemann speak as she is the keynote speaker for Connect the Brilliance<\/a><\/strong><\/span> at their annual women’s spring networking dinner.<\/p>\n

The event takes place on Tuesday, May 30 at Hidden Valley Resort in Huntsville, beginning at 5:30 pm. The evening showcases local vendors in a shopping extravaganza and serves up a delicious meal while inspiring the audience with a keynote address by Stegemann, of The 7 Virtues<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>fame. The cost to attend is $65\/person.

Stegemann got into the perfume business as a way of incentivizing farmers in Afghanistan to grow orange blossoms instead of poppies. She was profitable within four weeks. That’s just a hint of the inspiring story this woman has to tell.<\/p>\n
