They regularly volunteer their time to help those around them while developing their leadership skills, promoting international and community understanding and discovering the power of Service Above Self.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>In December 2016, the Huntsville Interact Club was given an opportunity to help the local Salvation Army. Our local Candian Ski Patrol-Muskoka Zone was rebranding their uniforms and they had a number of decent, good quality jackets that had nowhere to go. Before the jackets could be given or donated to anyone, all of the ski patrol emblems &#8211; three or four per jacket &#8211; needed to be painstakingly unstitched from the jackets. So the Interact members spent many lunch hours holding &#8220;unstitching bees&#8221; until the task was complete.
