It was the largest number of registrants since the event was reinvigorated 15 years ago. Ages of participants ranged from 4 to 85. There were three main races for the day: 30km, 15km and 5km.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>The temperature was a balmy four degrees Celsius but the staff at Arrowhead Park were still able to provide an excellent skiing surface. The superintendent compared the snow consistency to \u2018mashed potatoes\u2019 but there was no ice. Arrowhead Nordic thanked all of the volunteers and sponsors who made this year\u2019s Loppet event possible.<\/p>\n<p>Local skiers from Arrowhead Nordic Ski Team made the podium in many
