In response, residents experiencing symptoms have been isolated, along with their roommates, to help prevent the spread of illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fairvern staff have implemented a number of enhanced infection prevention and control measures, including increased monitoring of residents and staff for symptoms, enhanced cleaning and disinfection, the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and cohorting residents to their respective floors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Home officials say they are working closely with Public Health and will provide updates as more information becomes available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors are being asked to help reduce the risk of transmission by practising proper hand hygiene, including washing their hands or using alcohol-based hand sanitizer when entering and leaving the home.
