During the search, officers, with the support of the OPP Digital Forensic Unit (DFU) and the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit (CSEU), seized several electronic devices for examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, police arrested and charged 43-year-old Benjamin Jon Murdoch SCHEETZ, of Gravenhurst with the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Imports, distributes, sells or possesses for the purpose of distribution or sale of child sexual abuse and exploitation material &#8211; two counts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access any child sexual abuse and exploitation material &#8211; two counts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The accused was released at a bail hearing and is now scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
