{"id":21492,"date":"2016-10-12T09:49:11","date_gmt":"2016-10-12T13:49:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huntsville.dopperonline.ca\/?p=21492"},"modified":"2016-10-12T09:49:11","modified_gmt":"2016-10-12T13:49:11","slug":"warm-clothes-warm-hearts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/warm-clothes-warm-hearts\/","title":{"rendered":"Warm Clothes, Warm Hearts winter clothing drive helps families in need"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The District Municipality of Muskoka, Fabricare Cleaning Centers (Fabricare) and the Children\u2019s Foundation of Muskoka are pleased to partner again in support of the annual Warm Clothes Warm Hearts Muskoka winter clothing drive. 2016 marks the fifth year of this much needed program that provides new &amp; used winter clothing to families in Muskoka.<\/p>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n<p><strong>How to Donate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Collection of clothing articles began on Saturday, October 1 and will continue until Friday, October 28.  Any articles can be dropped off at your local Fabricare location in Bracebridge, Huntsville &amp; Gravenhurst during their normal business hours.  Every year people are in need of winter clothing so please clean out your closets and get your unwanted winter clothing to Fabricare.  There are people in Muskoka that will be cozy &amp; warm this winter because of your generous donations!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volunteer Opportunity!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fabricare is generously covering the cost of cleaning all the articles by providing free use of their machines, soap, etc., but volunteers are needed to assist with the cleaning of the articles.  Volunteers from the community can assist by donating a minimum of 2 hrs. of their time at any of the Fabricare locations to assist with cleaning the donated articles. Please contact Brenda Boothby at the District of Muskoka at <a href=\"mailto:brenda.boothby@muskoka.on.ca\" target=\"_blank\">brenda.boothby@muskoka.on.ca<\/a> to volunteer in any of the three towns.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Need of Warm Clothing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Distribution of the winter clothing will begin in November at the following locations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bracebridge: Fabricare Cleaning Center, 229 Wellington Street on Wednesday, November 2<sup>nd<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Gravenhurst:  Trinity United Church, 290 Muskoka Rd. N. on Monday, November 7<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Huntsville: Huntsville Public Library Annex, 1 Minerva Street on Thursday, November 10<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All distribution dates will run from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
