{"id":211203,"date":"2025-11-18T14:57:49","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T19:57:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/?p=211203"},"modified":"2025-11-18T14:58:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T19:58:12","slug":"gastro-related-outbreak-at-huntsville-hospital-has-ended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/gastro-related-outbreak-at-huntsville-hospital-has-ended\/","title":{"rendered":"Gastro-related outbreak at Huntsville Hospital has ended"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC), in consultation with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, has confirmed the gastro-related outbreak (enteric) on East and South Wings at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) site has ended. <\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The outbreak lasted 14 days, and through outbreak management protocols including testing, 16 patient cases and 16 staff cases were attributed to the outbreak in total. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The outbreak status has been lifted following no new cases since November 11.
