For the months of September and October the used book sale is in support of the Huntsville Lions Club.<\/p>\n<p>Huntsville Lions Club member Russ Nicholls loves the simplicity of the fundraiser.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"modern-quote full\"><p>It\u2019s a good fundraiser. I love it. Newer novels draw a really good buck, especially if they are from a good author. We have a lot of good books here.<cite><span style=\"color: #a6a6a6; font-family: 'Open Sans', Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-transform: uppercase; background-color: transparent; letter-spacing: 0.2px;\">Lion Russ Nicholls<\/span><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And the best part for the local charities is that Scotiabank matches the funds that are raised from the sale of the books. With Scotiabank\u2019s help, the Lions figure they will raise about $1500 during their September\/October stint which they will put back into the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is one of a number of fundraisers the Huntsville Lions Club has,\u201d said long-time Lion Doug Wilson. \u201cThe money that they raise through these goes into community service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20991\" src=\"https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2016\/09\/IMG_1095.jpg\" alt=\"books\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2016\/09\/IMG_1095-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/media-doppleronline-ca.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com\/2016\/09\/IMG_1095.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Anyone wishing to donate gently used novels may call Lion Russ at 705-787-1734 to arrange pick up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Don\u2019t miss out on Doppler!
