{"id":192735,"date":"2025-06-26T16:28:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-26T20:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/?p=192735"},"modified":"2025-06-26T21:52:26","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T01:52:26","slug":"four-recipients-presented-with-the-mahc-board-award-of-excellence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/four-recipients-presented-with-the-mahc-board-award-of-excellence\/","title":{"rendered":"Four recipients presented with the MAHC Board Award of Excellence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>From Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) recognized the recipients of the 18th annual Board Award of Excellence at an awards ceremony this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board of Directors presents the peer-nominated award annually to nominees who best exemplify MAHC\u2019s values and meet criteria such as significant achievements in patient- and family-centred care, outstanding management of people, financial or material resources, successfully completing a major project or special assignment beyond what is normally expected, and\/or demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to patient safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese awards are not just about excellence in medicine or operations, and they are more than just a recognition of individual achievements,\u201d says Dave Uffelmann, Chair of the Board of Directors. \u201cThey are about leadership, compassion, innovation, and the many, many quiet, consistent acts of service that often go unseen but never go unfelt. They are a celebration of our team\u2019s collective commitment to care and healing, to innovation, and the communities we serve.
