{"id":190181,"date":"2025-05-04T18:39:13","date_gmt":"2025-05-04T22:39:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/?p=190181"},"modified":"2025-05-04T18:39:15","modified_gmt":"2025-05-04T22:39:15","slug":"sundridge-youth-among-11-young-people-honoured-by-the-province","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/sundridge-youth-among-11-young-people-honoured-by-the-province\/","title":{"rendered":"Sundridge youth among 11 young people honoured by the province"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On April 28, 2025, Ontario honoured 11 young people with the 2023 Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the province, this prestigious medal is the province&#8217;s highest honour for youth aged 15 to 24 and recognizes their outstanding contributions to their communities and the province through volunteerism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of those 11 recipients was Megan Lee from Sundridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Megan Lee\u2019s ability to connect with people from all walks of life as well as her talent for inspiring others to get involved in community service, has enabled her to contribute in many ways to health care, schools, and youth sports.
