Introduction<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><br \/>\nYMCA of Simcoe Muskoka &#8211; Huntsville Employment &amp; Learning Services (&#8220;YMCA&#8221;) invites qualified cleaning service providers to submit tenders for the provision of office cleaning services at our premises located at 60 King William Street, Huntsville, ON. The contract will be for a period of one year, May 1, 2025 &#8211; April 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>2. Scope of Work<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><br \/>\nThe selected contractor will be responsible for:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Daily cleaning of office spaces (office hours Monday \u2013 Friday, 8:30 \u2013 4:30 p.m.)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Daily cleaning and sanitization of 3 single stall restrooms<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Daily cleaning and sanitizing kitchen \u2013 table, counter, floor<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Daily emptying trash bins and recycling \u2013 putting at the curb for weekly pick up<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Daily\/weekly vacuum all carpets and rugs (as needed)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Weekly cleaning of glass entrance doors and interior windows as needed<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Weekly dusting and cleaning of table tops<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">As needed baseboard, window ledge cleaning<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Supplying and refilling hygiene supplies, garbage bags (soap, paper towels, 2-ply toilet paper, etc.)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Steam carpet cleaning 2 times\/year<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Exterior window cleaning 2 times\/year <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Any additional cleaning tasks as required by the YMCA\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>3. Minimum Requirements<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><br \/>\nInterested companies must:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Be a licensed and insured cleaning service provider <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Have at least 2 years of experience in office cleaning.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Provide references from at least 2 clients.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Ensure staff are trained in health and safety standards.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Use environmentally friendly cleaning products where possible.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">All personnel cleaning on the premises must provide clear CRC<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>4. Proposal Submission Requirements<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><br \/>\nTenders must include:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Company profile and relevant experience.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Pricing breakdown (hourly\/daily rates or monthly contract fee).<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">List of cleaning equipment and supplies to be used.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Health &amp; safety policies.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Proof of insurance and WSIB certifications.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Any value-added services offered.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>5. Evaluation Criteria<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><br \/>\nSubmissions to be evaluated based on:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Cost-effectiveness.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Experience and qualifications.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Compliance with environmental and safety standards.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Client references.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Additional benefits or innovations in service delivery.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>6.
