When Huntsville Council meets this evening, flag use and amendments to the municipality’s procurement policy will be on the agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discussions are expected to be held about whether to fly or lower the U.S. flag in public spaces in light of the scheduled imposition of significant U.S. tariffs on Canadian exports, expected to severely impact the economy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Council will also be presented with amendments to the Town of Huntsville’s procurement policy, giving preference to Canadian goods, and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
