{"id":158739,"date":"2024-08-01T12:30:31","date_gmt":"2024-08-01T16:30:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/rwddev\/?p=158739"},"modified":"2024-08-01T12:30:34","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T16:30:34","slug":"committee-votes-in-favour-of-adding-kent-park-to-towns-alcohol-policy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/committee-votes-in-favour-of-adding-kent-park-to-towns-alcohol-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Committee votes in favour of adding Kent Park to Town&#8217;s alcohol policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>At its July 24 meeting, Huntsville General Committee approved adding Kent Park to its alcohol policy as one of the approved locations to host an event with alcohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a report provided to committee by Greg Pilling, Manager of Facility Operations, Sales and Customer Service, the alcohol policy was established in 2017. &#8220;Since that time, there have been changes to Town facilities that include disposing of the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment and a newly designed Kent Park,&#8221; noted Pilling.
