These parts are not compatible with other firearms and are used exclusively to create personally manufactured firearms, which are most commonly produced utilizing 3D printing technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A probe that began in Montr\u00e9al led to several arrests nationwide, with 11 individuals charged with 58 offences in Ontario. On June 20, 2023, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) simultaneously executed 14 search warrants at locations across the province, including Sams\u2019 residence in Gravenhurst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the warrant was executed in Gravenhurst, police found a 3D printer and firearms parts, along with nine jars of psilocybin, cannabis lollipops and cotton candy, and roughly 4,000 cannabis chocolate bars.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sams had no license to sell cannabis and was prohibited from owning a firearm due to a previous trafficking conviction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was sentenced to another 10-year weapons ban, a $5,000 fine, 7.5 months under house arrest and 7.5 months under curfew.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Gravenhurst man was snared in a nationwide investigation on illegal gun parts.
