For one night only from 8 pm to 2 am, the streets of downtown Huntsville will come alive with an exciting program of contemporary artistic activities, events and exhibits taking place in unconventional places in and around the downtown core. The event is sponsored by TD Bank: The Ready Commitment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for artist proposals is <strong>March 29th at 5 pm<\/strong>. Projects should encourage audiences to explore, discover, debate, and participate in contemporary art and the public spaces that surround them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s theme is \u201cLET IT PERCOLATE\u201d. To percolate is to &#8216;pass through slowly&#8217;, when &#8216;an idea, feeling, or piece of information percolates through a group of people or a thing, it spreads slowly through the group or thing&#8217;. HfA invites projects that reflect on the notion of gradual permeation of objects, thoughts, and feelings, and how we individually and collectively can experience these transformations. HfA is particularly interested in projects that involve participation of community members or visitors to the event.
