When Priscilla Beaulieu and Elvis met in 1959, he was 24 years old and stationed at a\u00a0US Army base in Germany, and she was the 14-year-old step-daughter of an Air Force officer. Instantly drawn into his orbit, Priscilla falls in love despite the protests from her parents.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A tender romance with a famous handsome idol is a part of every teenage girl\u2019s fantasy.\u00a0 Dreamy and hopeful, she imagines a life full of adventure and deep connection. But when\u00a0 Priscilla moves to Graceland, she realizes that instead of being treated like a partner, she\u2019s become a prop \u2014 doted on but no longer allowed to make her own decisions, forced to stay at home while her husband lives an explosive life at the centre of everyone\u2019s attention.
