{"id":148751,"date":"2024-01-12T13:49:31","date_gmt":"2024-01-12T18:49:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/rwddev\/?p=148751"},"modified":"2024-01-12T19:09:26","modified_gmt":"2024-01-13T00:09:26","slug":"skating-rink-at-river-mill-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/doppleronline.ca\/huntsville\/skating-rink-at-river-mill-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Public skating rink being installed at River Mill Park over the next few days"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"float: left; margin-right: 14px;\"><strong><broadstreet-zone zone-id=\"45658\" keywords=\"\" soft-keywords=\"true\" zone-alias=\"\"><\/broadstreet-zone><\/strong><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Huntsville\/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce has been hard at work planning for a public skating rink at River Mill Park in Downtown Huntsville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Chamber, it will be staffed every evening with a roaring bonfire and weekend entertainment on and off the ice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rink will be 42&#8242; by 92&#8242; and is being installed at the park over the next few days. It is expected to open to the public (weather permitting) from January 17 to March 16 at the user&#8217;s own risk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We will have staff playing canned music and starting a bonfire every night with the rink lit up from 5-9pm.
